Hi all, today we are going to discuss Sun signs. This is the sign the Sun was in on the day you were born.

The myth behind this sign is about a ram with golden fleece.

This ram was born of Poseidon (Neptune) and a nymph (personification of nature).

The ram was born with golden fleece and flying abilities. Therefore is named Chrysomallus, meaning golden fleeced, winged ram. For the sake of association I will refer to Chrysomallus as “the ram”. Later on in life, the ram is given to Nephele ( a cloud nymph).

This is after her spouse, Athamus (a Boetian king), became enchanted with another female and he left with her. Nephele causes months of drought in her pain, nonetheless.

Athamus’ new wife, Ino, becomes insanely jealous of his children with Nephele. She convinces Athamus to sacrifice his own child, Phrixus, in an attempt to stop the drought.
