Random Tarot Pull, Nine Of Cups

Hi all, and welcome to Spirit’s Blog. Today’s post is a random tarot pull. I am using “The Witches’ Tarot” by Ellen Dugan and Mark Evans.

This is a beautiful re engineering of the 78 card Rider-Waite deck.

In this post I will be examining the colors in the card, the numeric symbolism, planetary influence, and overall meaning. Today’s random tarot pull is the Nine of Cups.

Color Interpretation

The most notable colors in the Nine of Cups are, blue, green, yellow, and red (mixed with other colors).

The color blue is associated with the planet Jupiter. Jupiterian energy is hopeful, joyful and adventurous. Jupiter rules our leaderships, business ventures, how we expand, our money and personal power.

The color green is associated with the planet Venus. Venusian energy is stable, balanced, loving and harmonious. Venus rules beauty, growth, abundance and all feminine energies.

Yellow is representative of the Sun. Solar energy is youthful, happy, excited, and playful. The Sun rules our happiness, joy and success.

Red is the color associated with the planet Mars. Martian energy is active, forward moving, brave and determined. Mars rules our willpower, actions, dangers, and all masculine energies.
