Hi all and welcome to Spirit’s blog. Today is the day of the week in which I draw a card and use it’s guidance for the remainder of the week.

This week I am using “Witches Tarot” by Ellen Dugan and Mark Evans. This is a beautiful re engineering of the 78 card Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

In this post I will be examining the colors in the card, the numeric symbolism, planetary influence, and overall meaning. The tarot card drawn this week is… The Fool.

Color Influence

The most notable colors in The Fool card are red, blue, black and white.

The color red is associated with the planet Mars. Martian energy is a powerful, fast, driven, passionate energy. Mars the planet rules our willpower, actions, reaction to danger, and masculinity.

Blue is related to the planet Jupiter. Jupiter tells of our leadership qualities, business potential, monetary values and self expansion. Jupiter also rules our personal power and goals.

The color black is linked to Saturn. Saturn has an energy that is grounding, restrictive but for own good, and karmic situations. Saturn rules our destiny and past lives and the karmic agreements between souls. Saturn is also referred to as the father of time, therefore this energy rules time.
