Hi all, today’s post is a random tarot pull. Today I am using “Witches Tarot” by Ellen Dugan and Mark Evans.

This is a beautiful re engineering of the 78 card Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

Colors in The Nine of Wands

The most notable colors in The Nine of Wands are red, yellow, brown and blue.

The color red is associated with the planet Mars. Martian energy is a powerful, fast, driven, passionate energy. Mars the planet rules our willpower, actions, reaction to danger, and masculinity.

Yellow is the color associated with the Sun. The Sun has a positive, fun, happy, energy. The Sun rules over a person’s happiness, joy, and success.

When I see brown in a card I generally read it as black. So therefore black in this card is representative of Saturn. Saturn has an energy that is grounding, restrictive but for own good, and karmic.
